10+ years in oil & gas operations and equipment manufacturing. Chengtao Liu founded Jingtao Energy in 2025 to close the gap between proven intelligent oilfield technology and the fields that need it most.
Background
Before founding Jingtao Energy, Chengtao spent 4 years at Haike Chemical (2015–2019) in oil blending and refinery operations, building deep hands-on expertise in flow assurance and paraffin wax management. He then moved into investment promotion and industrial development, managing technology commercialization projects across the oil & gas equipment sector.
That dual experience — operator-side production knowledge plus equipment manufacturing and commercialization — is what sets Jingtao Energy apart. The company doesn’t just sell hardware. It deploys technology that 260+ wells at Qinghai Oilfield already rely on for electromagnetic wax prevention, and that CNPC drilling teams at 8,882 m depth use for automated pipe handling.
